With fewer games on tap thanks to ongoing byes, and an astonishing 9 players making perfect picks, Week 6 didn’t disappoint! The Pick’em pool was buzzing with some surprise picks and a battle for the top spot.
Top Dog of the Week: Sean pulled off a fantastic run this week, nailing a stellar 14 correct picks out of the available games! He finished strong with a well-balanced selection of picks, showing off his NFL knowledge.
Perfect Picks! Sean walked away with the glory, but others like Bill, Carson, Devyn, DonB, Jeffd, Mikeb, Phil, and Trevor had perfect performances too.
Slow Starters, Strong Finishers: While ChrisO started the week a little rough, missing on the first two early games, they rallied in the later matchups, not missing another game for the rest of the week (though it wasn’t enough to catch the leaders). On the flip side, DonR and Josh managed to stay consistent, cruising with 12 correct picks and only dropping a couple along the way.
Most Popular Teams: Unsurprisingly, Philidelphia and Cincinnati were popular choices across the board, as almost everyone backed these powerhouses. In fact, PHI was the most commonly picked team, with only a few brave souls going against them.
Heartbreaker of the Week: The game that took everyone by surprise? This week’s Hearbreaker didn’t break as many hearts as some games do. 45 people picked Denver, but an almost equal number correctly picked the Chargers, who won that game.
Sure Shot of the Week: No surprises here—Philadelphia (PHI) was the lock pick, with nearly everyone scoring a green mark next to their name on this one. A strong Eagles team came through for almost all players.
Underdog Picks: Kudos to the few who took a chance on LAC this week. They managed to score one of the harder picks, as most people went against them. Those who backed the Chargers snagged a key win that others missed out on.
Final Score Predictions: The Monday night showdown between Buffalo and the Jets had a final score of 23-20, and while many were all over the board, the most common predicted score was 48. The average predicted total score for the group was 46.8. Several users nailed the prediction spot on.
