New York Giants -6.5 vs. Carolina Panthers
Locks: Sunday 9:30 a.m. ET

Over/under total: 40.5 (11th highest)
FPI favorite: Giants by 6.1, 66.5% to win outright

Giants injury watch: WR Darius Slayton: O; TE Theo Johnson: Q; WR Bryce Ford-Wheaton: Q

Panthers injury watch: TE Feleipe Franks: Q; TE Ja’Tavion Sanders: Q; TE Tommy Tremble: Q

Best of the Week

  • Tristan H. Cockcroft: Tyrone Tracy Jr. has played 35% more of the offensive snaps, amassed 28 more carries and averaged 8.8 more fantasy points per game than Devin Singletary since his return. The Panthers have surrendered the most total fantasy points, points per game and adjusted fantasy points allowed to running backs, with a league-leading six individuals scoring 20-plus against them this season.
  • Matt Bowen: Xavier Legette hasn’t posted more than 40 yards receiving since back in Week 4, but he is finding the end zone and seeing consistent volume. With 13 targets over the past two weeks, Legette gives you enough upside in deeper formats.
  • Mike Clay: After averaging 13.8 fantasy PPG during Weeks 1-5, Wan’Dale Robinson has plummeted to just 7.6 per game during his past four outings. Robinson still sits top five among wide receivers in both targets and catches, but his short-range role (3.9 aDOT) has him 52nd in yardage and he has yet to see a single end zone target this year (and has just one of them in his career). Robinson’s low ceiling and dwindling target total have knocked him down to flex territory.

San Francisco 49ers -6.5 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Locks: Sunday 1 p.m. ET

Over/under total: 50.5 (Highest)
FPI favorite: 49ers by 1.3, 53.5% to win outright

49ers injury watch: WR Jauan Jennings: Q; RB Jordan Mason: Q; WR Deebo Samuel Sr.: Q; WR Chris Conley: Q; RB Christian McCaffrey IR-DTR

Buccaneers injury watch: WR Sterling Shepard: Q; WR Jalen McMillan: Q; RB Bucky Irving: Q; QB Baker Mayfield: Q; WR Mike Evans: O; WR Cody Thompson: O

Best of the Week

  • Mike Clay: Christian McCaffrey is expected back from injury this week and the reigning top-scoring fantasy RB should, of course, be locked into lineups. Even if CMC is limited to some extent, he’ll likely see enough work as both a rusher and a receiver to deliver solid-to-good fantasy production. Jordan Mason is best sent to your bench. He very well could split carries this week, but even as the lead back, he hasn’t had a double-digit fantasy game since Week 4.
  • Liz Loza: Tampa Bay’s secondary is the fifth-most-targeted defense in the league, allowing the sixth-most receptions and the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Even better, the Bucs’ have given up 10 scores to the position (tied for fifth most). In a game with the highest projected point total on this week’s slate (51.5), there figure to be plenty of opportunities for Ricky Pearsall to make an impact.

New England Patriots vs. Chicago Bears -6
Locks: Sunday 1 p.m. ET

Over/under total: 38.5 (12th highest)
FPI favorite: Bears by 9.5, 72.8% to win outright

Patriots injury watch: none to report

Bears injury watch: none to report

Best of the Week

  • Matt Bowen: The Bears had a rough day defending the run versus the Cardinals in Week 9, but I like this unit against a rookie quarterback in Drake Maye. The Bears have forced at least one turnover in seven of eight games this season, with multiple sacks in five straight. Maye was sacked four times in the loss to the Titans and he threw multiple interceptions for the second time this season. I’ll take the Bears’ defense at home Sunday in Soldier Field.
  • Liz Loza: The Patriots defense is not good, but Christian Gonzalez has been solid in shadow coverage, allowing an average of 3.4 catches per game and a single TD thus far in 2024. With the Bears opening as 6-point home favorites and given a projected game total of 39.5 points, top Chicago receiver DJ Moore is just a high-end WR3 for fantasy purposes this week.
  • Matt Bowen: I anticipate a zone-heavy game plan from the Bears’ defense this week against Maye (see above), and that creates a lot of underneath opportunities for Douglas to simply find open grass. While there isn’t big-play upside here, Douglas gives you a decent floor as a PPR option working out of the slot.

Buffalo Bills -4 vs. Indianapolis Colts
Locks: Sunday 1 p.m. ET

Over/under total: 47.5 (fourth highest)
FPI favorite: Bills by 5.7, 64.9% to win outright

Bills injury watch: WR Keon Coleman: O; WR Mack Hollins: Q; WR Curtis Samuel: Q; WR Amari Cooper: Q

Colts injury watch: WR Michael Pittman Jr.: Q

Best of the Week

  • Mike Clay: Michael Pittman Jr. has exactly one catch in each of his past two games and was a surprise dud in Joe Flacco‘s return to the lineup last week, but he did see his three best fantasy point totals of the season (and both of his TDs) during Weeks 4-6 when Flacco was under center. We know Pittman isn’t fully healthy, but he’s been on the field for 83% of the team’s passing plays over the past two weeks, which suggests the targets will follow. Consider him as a WR3 against a solid Buffalo pass defense.
  • Matt Bowen: Ray Davis produced 17 points on just six touches in Week 9, housing a 63-yard reception for score on a great call to beat man coverage (wheel route) and he added 20 yards rushing on four carries. The lack of volume does create a lower floor for Davis, but the rookie can play, so you’re betting on him being deployed in key situations for an explosive Bills offense.
  • Tristan H. Cockcroft: Dalton Kincaid‘s 22% target share is fourth best among tight ends, and he is fifth best with eight red zone and four end zone targets. If he continues to see that many targets against the Colts, he could be destined for a season-best in fantasy points. Indianapolis surrendered 16.8 points to Josh Oliver last week, 22.6 to Jonnu Smith in Week 7 and 12.4 to Brenton Strange in Week 5.

Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs -7.5
Locks: Sunday 1 p.m. ET

Over/under total: 41.5 (10th highest)
FPI favorite: Chiefs by 10.9, 76.6% to win outright

Broncos injury watch: none to report

Chiefs injury watch: WR Mecole Hardman: Q; WR JuJu Smith-Schuster: Q

Best of the Week

  • Liz Loza: DeAndre Hopkins is expected to draw shadow coverage via Pat Surtain II this Sunday. While that may seem foreboding, there is a little room for optimism. Hopkins spent nearly half of his time in the slot this past Monday night, recording a slot share of 40%, which was the most of any KC wide receiver and trailed only Travis Kelce. Surtain will pester Hopkins only while he’s on the perimeter.
  • Liz Loza: The Chiefs’ run defense has allowed a miserly 3.7 YPC to opposing rushers while giving up the fewest fantasy points per game (14.8) to running backs, and five total rushing scores on the season, with two of those TDs coming from QBs. Given Bo Nix‘s penchant for goal-line poaching, Javonte Williams‘ chances of falling into the end zone are close to nil. Consider benching him in favor of similarly less-inspiring options like Rico Dowdle or Jaylen Warren.
  • Mike Clay: The Chiefs have been dealing with some injuries at cornerback, but that hasn’t slowed them from shutting down wide receivers. Kansas City has allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to the position, including the fewest to the perimeter but the most to the slot. Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin should be downgraded, whereas Lil’Jordan Humphrey (70% slot) and Devaughn Vele (85%) stand to benefit.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Washington Commanders -2.5
Locks: Sunday 1 p.m. ET

Over/under total: 44.5 (seventh highest)
FPI favorite: Commanders by 1.5, 53.2% to win outright

Steelers injury watch: TE MyCole Pruitt: Q

Commanders injury watch: TE Colson Yankoff: Q; RB Brian Robinson Jr.: Q

Best of the Week

  • Mike Clay: Joey Porter Jr. is a good corner, so the potential shadow makes Terry McLaurin riskier than usual. However, it’s not a lock, and the Steelers have been generous to the perimeter lately (10th-most fantasy points allowed over the last four weeks), so any downgrade here should be considered minor.
  • Mike Clay: Jaylen Warren has played on 45% of snaps in the two games Russell Wilson has started, posting exactly 59 yards in both, and has a tough matchup this week (Washington has allowed the fewest RB targets, receptions and receiving yards this season) as well as the rest of the year (Pittsburgh has the hardest remaining schedule for RBs). Warren is, at best, a PPR flex option.

Atlanta Falcons -3.5 vs. New Orleans Saints
Locks: Sunday 1 p.m. ET

Over/under total: 46.5 (fifth highest)
FPI favorite: Falcons by 0.6, 52% to win outright

Falcons injury watch: TE Kyle Pitts: Q; WR Drake London: Q

Saints injury watch: RB Jamaal Williams: Q; WR Cedrick Wilson Jr.: Q; WR Chris Olave: D

Best of the Week

  • Matt Bowen: Allgeier has limited upside due to his lack of receiving production, but in a deeper format, you are looking at him as a goal-line back who can also grind out carries late to close out a game. This week, he gets solid matchup versus a Saints defense that ranks in the bottom 10 versus running backs and dealing with a coaching change.
  • Mike Clay: The Kyle Pitts roller coaster continues. One week after delivering the second-highest fantasy point total of his career (25.1), Pitts stumbled to 11 yards on his lone target against Dallas in Week 9. Perhaps the dud will prove to be an aberration as he had 65-plus yards in each of his prior four games. However, it’s worth noting that he has played on only 51% of snaps over the past two weeks after playing on 75% during the first seven games of the season. Pitts is a fringe starting option this week.

Minnesota Vikings -7 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Locks: Sunday 1 p.m. ET

Over/under total: 44.5 (seventh highest)
FPI favorite: Vikings by 3.2, 59.7% to win outright

Vikings injury watch: none to report

Jaguars injury watch: QB Trevor Lawrence: Q; RB D’Ernest Johnson: Q; WR Brian Thomas Jr.: Q; WR Gabe Davis: Q; RB Tank Bigsby: Q; RB Travis Etienne Jr.: Q

Best of the Week

  • Mike Clay: Minnesota has a ton of talent in its secondary, but it simply hasn’t converted to slowing opposing wide receivers. The zone-heavy Vikings have allowed the most fantasy points to wideouts this season, as well as the seventh-most points to the perimeter and third-most to the slot. Expect added volume for this WR room, which means a boost in fantasy output that partially offsets the QB downgrade from the injured Trevor Lawrence to backup Mac Jones
  • Tristan H. Cockcroft: Though it has been six weeks since Darnold reached the 20-point fantasy plateau, this is the kind of matchup that can easily get him there. Joe Flacco (Week 5), Caleb Williams (Week 6) and Drake Maye (Week 7) all exceeded 20 points against the Jaguars despite all three sporting seasonal averages below 15 points per game.
  • Mike Clay: Travis Etienne Jr. returned from injury last week and was, once again, a nonfactor. Etienne has yet to clear 13 carries or 14.8 fantasy points in any game this season ,and he hasn’t found the end zone since Week 2. Etienne’s diminishing role has reduced him to flex territory — which is also where Tank Bigsby belongs. The second-year back played on 55% of snaps last week but was limited to just 22 yards on eight touches. He also remains a nonfactor as a receiver (five targets in nine games).
  • Mike Clay: Last week, Hockenson returned from last season’s torn ACL, was limited to 45% of snaps and produced 27 yards on four targets. Hockenson is a strong bet for a substantially larger workload this week, and he has a solid matchup against a Jaguars defense that has allowed five TE scores (second most) and the 10th-most TE fantasy points.

Tennessee Titans vs. Los Angeles Chargers -7
Locks: Sunday 4:05 p.m. ET

Over/under total: 38.5 (12th highest)
FPI favorite: Chargers by 6.5, 66.7% to win outright

Titans injury watch: TE Nick Vannett: Q; RB Julius Chestnut: Q; RB Tony Pollard: Q; WR Tyler Boyd: Q; WR Colton Dowell: O

Chargers injury watch: TE Stone Smartt: Q

Best of the Week

  • Matt Bowen: Justin Herbert looks healthy based on his pocket movement and the ability to get to the edges of the formation. With the development of wide receiver Ladd McConkey, plus the big-play juice of Quentin Johnston, I like Herbert this week against Tennessee, as well as Johnston as a boom/bust target based on his ability to stretch the field.
  • Tristan H. Cockcroft: Tony Pollard shouldn’t be expected to repeat his usage-heavy Week 9 performance. The Chargers are heavily favored in what’s projected to be one of the week’s lower-scoring games. It’s also possible that Tyjae Spears (hamstring) returns to action and steals some of Pollard’s work. The Chargers are one of three defenses to have not afforded a 20-point game to a running back this season, and their 0.44 points per rushing attempt mark is the lowest in the league.

New York Jets -1.5 vs. Arizona Cardinals
Locks: Sunday 4:25 p.m. ET

Over/under total: 46.5 (fifth highest)
FPI favorite: Cardinals by 0.3, 51.1% to win outright

Jets injury watch: QB Jordan Travis: O

Cardinals injury watch: RB James Conner: Q

Best of the Week

  • Mike Clay: Kyler Murray has finished as QB20 or lower in three of his past six outings and has been QB15 or worse in five out of nine games this season. Murray remains a factor with his legs (third among QBs with 350 rushing yards), but he is limited through the air (18th with 1,792 passing yards). Arizona has had the hardest schedule for QBs so far this season, and it won’t be easy this week either against a Jets defense that has allowed the second-fewest passing yards and passing scores (6) this season. Only two QBs have reached even 12 fantasy points against them.
  • Tristan H. Cockcroft: Marvin Harrison Jr. has been quiet in his tough matchups, and the Jets have been the ninth-best defense by adjusted fantasy points allowed after having been the league’s best in 2023, making this one of Harrison’s toughest assignments yet.

Philadelphia Eagles -7.5 vs. Dallas Cowboys
Locks: Sunday 4:25 p.m. ET

Over/under total: 43.5 (ninth highest)
FPI favorite: Eagles by 7.8, 69.2% to win outright

Eagles injury watch: WR DeVonta Smith: Q

Cowboys injury watch: WR CeeDee Lamb: Q; QB Dak Prescott: O

Best of the Week

  • Mike Clay: Dak Prescott will be out for a while, which means Cooper Rush will be under center for Dallas. Rush has played six full games in his career and averaged 213.5 passing yards per game and threw seven touchdowns in his six starts. CeeDee Lamb had eight-plus targets in all six Rush games, averaging 9.5 targets, 6.2 receptions, 82.0 yards and 16.6 fantasy points. Lamb is the only safe fantasy start in the Dallas offense.
  • Tristan H. Cockcroft: Rush’s history leaning on tight ends isn’t as promising as Prescott’s. Since the beginning of 2021, Rush has targeted a tight end on 17% of his attempts, while Prescott has done so 22% of the time. Throw in the matchup and Jake Ferguson is a low-end TE1 at best for Week 10.

Detroit Lions -3.5 vs. Houston Texans
Locks: Sunday 8:20 p.m. ET

Over/under total: 48.5 (third highest)
FPI favorite: Lions by 4.7, 61.8% to win outright

Lions injury watch: none to report

Texans injury watch: RB Dameon Pierce: Q

Best of the Week

  • Tristan H. Cockcroft: C.J. Stroud is in the midst of a funk, falling short of 20 fantasy points in each of his past five games and averaging 9.8 points in his past three, while The Lions have an interception in each of their eight games and a sack in seven, while they have limited quarterbacks to the third-fewest fantasy points per pass attempts for the season (0.29).
  • Mike Clay: Detroit has faced the most WR targets and has, in turn, surrendered the most receptions and yards, as well as the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. The volume is the primary culprit here, as the Lions have allowed the second-fewest points over expected and the third-lowest EPA to opposing passing games as a whole, but as long as the Lions are winning (they’re favored again this week), teams will need to throw against them, and that has been a recipe for a lot of wide receiver fantasy points.
  • Mike Clay: Sam LaPorta‘s inexplicable fall from fantasy stardom continues, as the second-year tight end was held to just 28 yards on three targets in Week 9. LaPorta has yet to clear six targets in any game, and he has a brutal Week 10 matchup against a Houston defense that has allowed the fewest TE receptions (24), yards (181) and fantasy points (58), as well as the lowest catch rate (53%) and YPT (4.0). He should remain on benches.

Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Rams -1
Locks: Monday 8:15 p.m. ET

Over/under total: 50.5 (Highest)
FPI favorite: Rams by 2.1, 54.9% to win outright

Dolphins injury watch: TE Julian Hill: Q

Rams injury watch: WR Demarcus Robinson: Q; TE Tyler Higbee: O

Best of the Week

  • Matt Bowen: Tua Tagovailoa is a timing-and-rhythm thrower in Mike McDaniel’s offense. That plays against a Rams defense that will mix both single-high and split-safety zone defenses. Let’s get some catch-and-run targets here for Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, which will boost the totals for Tagovailoa.
  • Liz Loza: Jonnu Smith has led all Dolphins pass catchers in receiving yards (162) since the team’s Week 6 bye, which includes the two games since Tua Tagovailoa returned. The Rams’ young defense has exceeded expectations but can still be had over the middle. Los Angeles has given up the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends, including allowing four catches on seven targets to Seattle’s AJ Barner last Sunday.
