This week Danspool lost one of the OG players – a guy who who’s been here since the days when Dan would print out pick sheets for everyone and take people’s picks over the phone every Sunday. For those BHi folks among us, Trevor was an original there as well – driving down from Kitchener to play, sometimes a couple of times each week.
For over 25 years Trevor has been a part of Danspool, but this week he lost his battle with cancer at the young age of 56. A social worker who dedicated his life to helping others, with a focus on senior citizens, he (and his infectious, booming laugh) will be missed by those of us who loved him.
Trevor left us while being tied for 1st place in the standings with 5 weeks left, one of which he already made his picks for. Going forward, Trevor’s picks will be made by either his Daughter or his Dad – so watch out Danspool members, you’ve got some determined competition for the championship.
